Details of an outfit I wore a few weeks ago.
Shirt: second-hand, Sweater & pants: H&M, Belt: Maison Scotch, Necklace: gift from D
Lipstick: Rouge Dior (999 Ara Red)
I really like this outfit, it was a new way to wear the H&M pants you have seen quite often here on my blog. The sweater is also an old one, and the shirt was my aunt's. A good example how you can mix and match your older clothes in different ways, creating new styles.
Creating new combinations out of the clothes that have been hanging in my closet for ages is challenging but fun. I think I would manage just fine with less clothes. The only thing that will be forcing me to buy new clothes, is the poor quality of my current clothes. The H&M pants that I bought in September are already showing signs of wear and H&M quality is actually quite reasonable compared to many other brands. Or maybe I should just learn to sew better and make all of my clothes.
Details can make or break the outfit. Here I wore more subtle jewellery to balance the loud print and texture combinations. The red lipstick, which I got from D, also changes the mood entirely. To give the lipstick more attention I kept my eye make-up subtle.
So all in all, I was happy with my outfit. Can't wait to get the rest of my clothes from Finland to be able to create even more new combinations.
