Tällainen työhaastatteluasu tällä kertaa, en vain yksinkertaisesti jaksanut laittaa mitään virallisempaa. Bleiserillä saa onneksi asuun kuin asuun asiallisuutta. Vielä tämän päivän kuluessa pitäisi tulla tietoa sainko työn vai en, ainakin vuokrafirman haastattelija puhui jotenkin siihen suuntaan, että minut kyllä palkataan, mutta ei sitä voi vielä tietää. Saisivat vain nyt jo soittaa, olen vahdannut puhelinta viimeiset viisi tuntia.

Peilin kautta otettuja kuvia, mutta tällä kertaa minun makuuhuoneessani, ja kuten näkyy, vaatteita riittää. Täytyy toivoa, että tulevassa asunnossa olisi tarpeeksi säilytystilaa, muuten D saa sitten syksyllä tänne muuttaessa pitää tavaransa matkalaukussa. Kuvissa näkyy siis vain murto-osa vaatteistani, pitäisi varmaan tehdä joku inventaario ja laskea, että kuinka monta vaatekappaletta minulla oikeastaan on. Laitan niitä kyllä kiertoon pikkusiskolle aina säännöllisin väliajoin, jos hän niitä vain huolii kun meillä on aika erilaiset tyylit. Toisaalta perusvaatekappaleista saa yhdisteltyä todella erityylisiä kokonaisuuksia. Pointtini on siis, että kierrätän vaatteita, itse saan niitä tädeiltäni ja esimerkiksi D:n siskoilta, ja sitten laitan käytöstä poistuneita vaatteita vielä edelleen kiertoon. Maailmassa kun on niin paljon vaatteita, että olisi typerää ostaa aina uutta, vaikka siihenkin toki sorrun aina silloin tällöin. Oikeastaan seuraava vaatteisiin liittyvä investointi, josta haaveilen olisi jäsenkortti Nopsan Vaatelainaamoon.

This was my outfit to today's job interview, I couldn't bear to wear anything more formal or official. Luckily blazers make almost any outfit look slightly more office-like. The people promised to call me today about the job, but I think they should hurry, I have been checking my phone for five hours now. I do feel confident because the man who interviewed me said something indicating that they would like to hire me, but then, he has to check with the company first...

I took the pictures through the mirror again, but this time in my room. As you can see, I have loads of clothes. I can only hope that my future apartment has enough storage room or D will have to keep his clothes in his suitcase when he moves to Finland next Autumn. To think you can only see a tiny part of my wardrobe in the pictures! I really should do inventory in my closet again, and count just how many pieces of clothing I have. Although I do give my clothes to my sister quite regularly when I don't wear them anymore, as long as she wants them. We have quite different styles but basic clothes can luckily be mixed and matched in various styles. My point here is that I recycle almost all of my clothes. I get clothes second-hand from my aunts and also from D's sisters, and once the clothes start remaining in the closet for ages, I give them to someone who will wear them. There are loads of clothes in this world, it seems crazy to buy everything new, even though I certainly have nothing against buying new clothes, I just try to keep myself from doing it mostly for budget reasons. In fact my next fashion investment is going to be a membership to the Nopsa Fashion Library.
