Sorry for posting this on Tuesday, I'm really trying to get back on track with these posts but yesterday was simply such a busy day for me!

Anyways, this week's Monday must-have is perhaps a little surprising for those who know me and my dislike for rain boots. As much as I might dislike rain boots, I dislike getting my pretty shoes wet and muddy much more than I dislike wearing rain boots.

The shoes in the pictures are a real Finnish rain boot classic, and perhaps it's due to the horrible rain yesterday, but they look rather appealing to me. No Hunters for me, thank you, I'd rather take the Nokia classics.

This week's Monday must-have is Vogue Nederland, especially to those who want to go to the first-ever Vogue Fashion's Night Out in Amsterdam on Thursday. I bought the magazine this morning, with Glamour, and I will be taking Vogue with me to Amsterdam on Thursday... can't wait!

And of course, I have the best excuse to buy magazines, especially if they are in Dutch...

What can I say, I'm a sims-addict! The expansion pack comes out in the Netherlands this Thursday so if my blog is eerily quiet next week, don't report me missing, I'm probably just spending all my free time playing sims and testing out the new features.

I'm so excited about this expansion pack, and I'm sure I'll be having a blast playing out True Blood inspired stories I come up with. The best thing is that D is letting me borrow his big gaming PC and he's even going to drive to my host-family's place and set it up there. I'm happy to have a fiancé who enables my addictions...

Any other sim addicts out there?

I'm back and so is Monday must-have! This week's must-have for me is an oxford satchel bag by the Cambridge Satchel Company. Satchel bags aren't really anything new, and they've been all the rage for a while already but somehow I never really was turned on by this trend until I saw a satchel bag at H&M in Milan.

For a while already I have been craving for a good handbag that's big enough to hold all my stuff, perhaps even my laptop and won't break within a year, like most cheap handbags I have bought do. I have finally understood that a good handbag is an investment, yet I am not even tempted to buy myself an overly expensive designer bag. I want a classic quality bag suitable for my needs and style, and right now the 14" classic satchel in black or brown (or pink??) seems to tick all the boxes... And for a quality leather bag 103 euros isn't even that bad.

But before I go and place an order I'd like to hear your thoughts/reviews. Comments and links are very much appreciated!

Monday must-have

I'm starting a new series of small weekly posts, to bring some variety to my normal posts. The first one of the series is Monday must-have, which is pretty self-explanatory. I choose an item I have come across in the past week and share it with you!

These weekly posts are going to be in English only, purely out of laziness. It's such a hassle to write every post in three languages so I will keep these scheduled posts easy and quick to do. My normal posts will be in three languages as they have been.

But, this week my Monday must-have is the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.

Trang bought the palettes on her trip to France and we tried the original Naked palette when getting ready for our Saturday night. Of course, I fell in love with the eyeshadows, such good quality and the shades were pretty too, although I think that the shades in the Naked 2 palette are more suitable for my blue eyes. Seems like I'll have to drag D along for some shopping...
